Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Medford MA

Duration: 7 weeks Guarantee: 40

Shift: 07:00AM - 03:30 PM

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or a physician to provide basic nursing care to patients. The LPN will assist in the evaluation of patient needs, the planning and implementation of nursing care plans, and the assessment of patient outcomes. They will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medication and treatments, and performing various clinical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist RNs and physicians in providing direct patient care.
• Administer medication and treatments as ordered by physician or RN.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the RN or physician.
• Assist with the implementation of nursing care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in medical records.
• Provide patient education and instructions on home care and disease prevention.
• Perform various clinical procedures such as venipuncture, catheterization, and wound care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Adhere to all nursing and hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid LPN license in the state of employment.
• Completion of an accredited LPN program.
• BLS of American Heart Association
• Covid vaccination

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, PRN

Salary: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
