Low Voltage 06 Electrician - Seattle

SLI Integrated Systems is a Seattle based Company and division of Sustainable Living Innovations that has developed an innovative, intelligent building infrastructure solution that integrates various building systems along a fiber backbone for our turnkey buildings as well as third party work. SLI Converged Systems designs the infrastructure that will be installed, and we are looking for key employees to build and implement that design into reality.

As an 06 Electrician, reporting to the LV PM, you will be required to assist in deployment and commissioning of various systems, solutions, and integrations across multiple platforms. Following designs and adhering to specific MOP’s (methods of procedure) and quality documentation is necessary. The expectation is to be trained specifically for the deployment of our in-building systems but prior experience in many of the following is desired:

Access Control

· Certified Brivo design and installation

· Assa Abloy Aperio Certified

Fire Safety Systems

· Conduit placement

· Follow FA Drawing Sets

CCTV security camera systems

· Familiar with CCTV design software

· Camera Deployments

· Network commissioning

LAN Networking

· Corning SD LAN

· Cable Infrastructure

· POE

· Able to interpret network designs and coordinate onsite installation activities

· Fiber networks

· Corning Network Equipment

· Splicing and power meter testing an asset

The additional following experience would be assets:

DC power networks

Building Wide Wi-Fi

Public Safety Radio Distributed Antenna System and rooftop BDA’s

Low Voltage Lighting

As part of a team, you will be expected to:

o Work onsite in the Seattle market and beyond to deliver on time and on budget installations

o Capability to work independantly on projects and be willing to contribute on network design solution red lines and augments.

o Follow methods of procedures, streamline installation practices, and adhere to QC documentation. Collaboration on refining documentation is required

o Be willing to take training on various platforms in order to grow and advance in the Company

o Follow designs and installation protocols and standards from vendors as well as internal Quality documentation

o Maintaining an organized and neat workspace

o Track time on tasks

o Make Quality top priority

Qualifications

· Valid EL06 License or ability to obtain one

· Valid Drivers License

· Use of basic hand tools (screw drivers, wrenches, side cutters, scissors)

· Telecom installation standards and practices (RCDD an asset)

· Solid comprehension of the terminology pertaining to the installation and service of telecom, data, security, and wireless systems

· Ethernet cabling standards, category cable and fiber

· Access Control wiring and network platforms

· Computer skills including Microsoft suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD (useful)

· Comfortable using small hand tools and power tools

· Legally authorized to work in the United States of America

On-site Physical work demands include:

· Finger and wrist dexterity and hand/eye coordination

· Heavy physical effort

· Climbing stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds

· Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts, and rooftops utilizing proper fall protection

· Carrying loads up and downstairs

· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

· Exposure to noisy or dusty conditions; chemicals & solvents; mechanical, electrical, and/or other hazards

· Schedule flexibility and willingness to travel overnight

Salary Range: $30-$50/ HR based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
