Information Security Operations Lead (Mergers & Acquisition)

Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with merger and acquisition internal business and IT team in support of holistic, technology due diligence assessments, remediation, and transition services to support M&A activity

• Identify remediation opportunities through analysis of existing technology systems, cybersecurity maturity, and business processes

• Leverage technical expertise in cybersecurity to perform due diligence and assessment work for M&A activity

• Create necessary playbook to leverage across multiple M&As for Day zero thru complete transition

• Provide strategic cybersecurity M&A advisory and compliance consulting services ranging from security assessments to policy definition and adoption

• Document current state review of existing cybersecurity organization, processes, and technologies to deliver key findings and recommendations

• Develop implementation and migration strategies and roadmaps to achieve seamless transition, compliance and strengthen their cybersecurity posture

• Actively build a professional and affiliate network in the consulting, cybersecurity, M&A, and broader tech communities

• Performs network security audits and testing and evaluates system security configurations to ensure efficacy and compliance with policies and procedures

• Partner with IT, Legal, HR, and other business units to manage and implement information security controls across global Applied Materials locations

• Conducts penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems and/or networks (Prior to and post integration)

• Display strong technical aptitude on IT Security, Enterprise Firewalls, Identity Management, End Point security technologies, and Email Security, monitoring capabilities and analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

• Minimum 7- 10 years of progressive experience in Cyber Security

• Information security certification is preferred

• Proven track record and experience in executing information security related projects in a global company

• Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills; ability to clearly articulate and present complex advice to management and leadership teams

• Excellent analytical skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and work well in a dynamic, global company

• Ability to work both independently and work within a team to analyze complex business problems and recommend solutions

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
