Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Logistics Product Support Site Manager (Manager, Programs 2) for Autonomous Systems, reporting to the Fielded Aircraft Support Team Manager.
This position will lead a group of approximately 30 field service representatives, technicians, and mechanics whose responsibilities include supporting the flight and maintenance for the Triton aircraft. This position will be located at Anderson AFB in Guam.

Essential Functions:

  • Implement and execute the Product Support activities for the site
  • Supervise daily operations of company personnel assigned to Field Service and Site Infrastructure in support of contractual requirements and corporate goals
  • Plan, direct, manage, and control the cost, schedule and technical performance to include oversight of contractor presence (including Northrop Grumman Defense Systems and Supplier representatives) supporting the Customer’s worldwide Triton operations
  • Execution of repair and resupply concepts and plans
  • Maintain liaison role with IPTs having direct impact on the air vehicles, ground stations, field support systems, configuration management, technical orders, field modifications, repair programs, software support, and other field support activities in order to exchange information, coordinate efforts, and resolve problems

The Site Lead works closely with the customer and local community in support of and in compliance with company policies and objectives. This position requires excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.

This position is a rotational assignment that will be based in Yigo, Guam for a minimum of 2 years with the anticipated short deployments to locations in Japan or other temporary locations. A comprehensive overseas compensation package, including relocation assistance, is provided.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of exempt aviation and/or exempt aviation maintenance experience; OR a Master’s Degree with 8 years of exempt aviation and/or exempt aviation maintenance experience
  • Experience leading or managing a team
  • Current Secret DoD clearance required to start with ability to obtain TS/SCI within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Must have the ability to work in Yigo, Guam for at least two years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of exempt aviation and/or exempt aviation maintenance experience
  • Previous experience working with military customers
  • Degree in engineering or other technical field
  • Prior responsibility for site operations is a significant plus
  • Maintenance management and operations experience
  • Contractor logistics support experience.
  • Current TS/SCI clearance.


Salary Range: $130,500 USD - $195,700 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
