Logistics Coordinator II (M-F; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Job description
The Logistics coordinator is responsible for load planning for customer product. The Logistics Coordinator may also be responsible for prepping and processing orders for shipment.
Functions
- Performs daily load planning, routing and coordinating of all deliveries using warehouse and
- Owns the coordination of all Inbound and Outbound orders to/from the facility.
- May be required to track inventory, process units, and prepare for shipment and delivery
- Maintains open communication with customer sales force regarding scheduled deliveries.
- Acts as a central communication hub between network drivers, customers, site personnel, and third-party carriers.
- Arranges outsourced carriers as needed.
- Provides critical customer service via telephone and email with consistent professionalism.
- Serves as a key Customer Service Representative at the site, and build strong relationships with members of the customer sales force.
- Utilized thorough product knowledge to ensure customers receive the correct product in proper working condition.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in warehousing or DOT or related required.
