is hiring an experienced Loan Documentation Specialist.

Location: Remote
Position Summary: Primary responsibilities will encompass documenting and closing commercial loans, modifications and home equity loans. Additional responsibilities will include coordination of settlements, including funding, with all parties and post-closing due diligence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Credit Analysts and Loan Origination Team in preparing settlement documentation packages in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and legibility of data entry and documentation for new credit facilities and existing loan modifications
- Communicate with customers, lending personnel, bank council, loan servicing personnel, and title companies
- Post-closing responsibilities include the review and audit of loan documentation to ensure proper execution of documents, verification of loan funding, and other compliance related duties
- Process search requests for the Credit Analysts
- Engage bank approved appraisers and environmental firms
- Additional duties and responsibilities as they may apply
Required Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in LaserPro (minimum 5 years’ experience)
- Thorough understanding of commercial and consumer loan documentation
- General understanding of credit analysis
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to speak effectively with customers as well as employees of the organization
- Ability to read and interpret documents, effectively write routine reports and correspondence
Additional Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
