Local Carmel Law firm is seeking to hire a litigation paralegal with at least two years of experience in the legal field. You will be responsible for the coordination of all the details before, during, and after trial. Due to our growing needs, we are looking to hire an additional paralegal to assist with our litigation team. Our primary areas of practice include personal injury and worker's compensation law. Ideal candidates would possess organizational skills, be detailed oriented, and have effective communication skills in speaking with customers, businesses, legal professionals, and other staff members.

We are looking for individuals who can work well in a team environment and with many different attorneys and staff members. Candidates that have experience with litigation and the discovery process, as well as trial prep experience, are preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage litigation caseload
• Customer service with clientele and opposing counsels
• Proofreading litigation documentation including complaints, discovery, motions, etc.
• Working with attorneys and other admin staff on the litigation process
• Calendaring litigation deadlines and events
• Data Entry
• Report running and forecasting case movement
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc)

Pay: $35,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
