Civil defense firm in Johnson County, Kansas has immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal to become part of our team working in the areas of employment law and business litigation. You will conduct vital paralegal duties for Attorneys and Partners in a busy, civil law firm.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Request, receive, process, distribute and/or produce documents related to cases
• Prepare, proof, and/or finalize memos, correspondence, reports and court pleadings
• Prepare for, attend and assist with calls, meetings, depositions, mediations, and trial
• Calendar deadlines, events, reminders
• Organize and maintain case files
• Research skills
• Strong personal ethics
• Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented attitude, and superior attention to detail
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and timelines

Minimum Requirements:

• Paralegal Certification minimum; Paralegal Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2 years of Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
