Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, Line Service Technician duties are as follows:

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotating duties as scheduled and on call covering the flight schedule needs. a.Schedule will be based on operational needs and will be a minimum of 40 hours per week, 2 weekends per month, overtime as needed.
• To be punctual, well-groomed and available as required for their assigned shift.
• Proper and safe operation of the equipment required for aircraft movement.
• Proper and safe operation of company fueling operations.a.Receiving and dispensing aviation jet fuel in accordance with company policy and FAA regulations.b.Fuel testing and quality control.c.Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual fuel farm inspections.
• Proper and safe operation of Company vehicles.
• Proper and safe operation of equipment in the airport environment.
• Maintaining tools and equipment used such as oil chicks, batter checks, filter changes, etc.
• Assist medical crews or charter clients with their belongings as need prior to and at the completion of flights.
• Utilize the correct methods and cleaning agents as specified by the Company for cleaning and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the aircraft.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hangar environment.
• Daily cleaning of the office to be completed prior to 8:00 a.m.

• General grounds up-keep. This will include cleaning, picking up trash and F.O.D. that could damage aircraft engines, propellers or tires), painting, changing lights, moving furniture, etc.
• Any additional duties/tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Must pass all conducted drug/alcohol screens, background and security checks and prove eligibility for employment in the United States.
• High School Diploma required; college preferred.
• Experience with aviation ground handling preferred
• Valid state drivers license required.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to act under pressure and be adaptable to change on a constant basis.
• Professional verbal/written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.86 - $22.71 per hour
