Summerfield Senior Living is looking to hire friendly cooks for our dietary department in our Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities in Slidell. :
- Pay rate starting at $14 per hour depending on experience.
- 3. We are a locally owned and managed company.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare meals according to menu cycles with attention to cleanliness and order:
- Able to prepare and provide meals to be served at designated times:
- Clean food stations and wash cooking vessels and utensils:
- Stock ingredients and monitor inventory:
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances:
- Proven experience as cook:
- Further experience in customer service will be appreciated:
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines:
- Aptitude in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances:
- Friendly with good communication skills:
- Good physical condition and stamina:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus:
Must be able to pass Drug Screen and Background Check
