CMX Cinemas premiered in April 2017, offering guests an innovative VIP movie-going experience. Since that time, CMX has grown organically and through acquisition, notably acquiring Cobb Theatres and CinéBistro locations. At 30+ locations across the country, CMX continues to grow with an upcoming location at Tysons Galleria (McLean, VA). About CMX CinéBistro Stony Point

Located in Richmond, VA, CMX CinéBistro Stony Point is a one-of-a-kind elevated movie-going experience with amenities such as all reserved seating, full-service in-theatre dining, extensive beer, wine & cocktail selections and a chef-crafted menu. All auditoriums feature 4k digital projection, and 7.1 surround sound. Guests can choose to dine in our restaurant and bar if not seeing a movie and are never required to order food or drinks when seeing a movie. We also offer traditional movie concessions such as hot, fresh popcorn, candies and snacks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring a high level of quality and consistency of product at all times
• Establishing and maintaining a TEAM environment that displays a high level of energy, engagement, and builds ownership
• Development of menu specials including recipe, cost, and sales tracking
• Maintaining sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in kitchen operations that meets company standards and complies with government regulations
• Achieving desired results relative to the management of food and labor costs, while not sacrificing the guest experience
• Ensuring that kitchen equipment is properly maintained and fully operational
• Ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels

Job Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years as a Sous Chef at a full-service restaurant with an understanding of Modern, New American and Global Cuisine.
• Creative ability to create new menu items and specials
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate directions and expectations and the sincere desire to build, coach, and develop successful teams
• Ability to foster an environment where team members are engaged and have a sense of ownership
• Passion for and commitment to the restaurant industry
• Entrepreneurial attitude and approach to thinking required to lead an emerging concept/brand (i.e. sees big picture, embraces critical thinking, quest for continuous improvement, innovative)
• Commitment to fostering an environment of superior guest service and quality; ability to successfully resolve guest service issues
• Excellent analytical, planning/organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
