• If a resident or family member chooses to purchase medication packages such as having a licensed nurse to set-up medications weekly in a self-administration reminder box, administer medications up to 4 times per day during designated hours, or administer medications including insulin injections up to 4 times per day during designated hours.
• Follows-up on residents who have recently been hospitalized, utilized the emergency call system or local emergency as well as: Spot-checks every 2 hours during the day, Escort to meals or meals brought to the room, Medication reminders; Dress assistance; Bath assistance, Observation of activities, alertness, orientation, etc.; Report to family
• Collaborates with Director of Assisted Living to evaluate the day to day functions and suggest recommendations for changes.
• Assists in the orientation of new staff to meet patient needs; Assists with the orientation of new resident move-ins; and maintains resident TB records and updates.
• Supports and participates in continued development of the program in accordance with policies/procedures, applicable regulations and community needs as directed by the Director of Assisted Living.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Currently licensed in the State of Ohio as a Practical Nurse
• Minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience
