As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will

• Administering drugs, medications, treatments, inoculations, and tests as allowed by law.
• Implementing verbal physician orders and authenticating in writing, within a reasonable time, in the patient record
• Communicating with physicians, nurses, and pharmacists
• Pre-screening of new patients for appropriateness for admission, including TB screening.
• Obtaining physical assessment data and health history
• Actively and compassionately interacts with patients to encourage engagement in treatment after completion of detoxification.
• Maintains and demonstrates a current working knowledge of applicable clinical procedures and nursing care based on company policy and State and Federal guidelines.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position Details:

• Immediate openings
• Location: Lynwood, WA
• 12-16week contract
• Shift & Schedule: Full-Time, 12-hour Day or Night shifts/ 3 days a week.

To qualify as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with us:

• Education: At least an Associate in degree in Nursing
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. (LPN) in WA state
• Current BLS certification
• Behavioral Health experience (preferred)
• Two (2) positive work references
• Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to deal with chemically dependent individuals non-judgmentally with care and compassion.
• The facility is a drug-free workplace, and employees will agree to random and for-cause drug testing policies. Program may also be smoke-free workplace, and employee must comply by not smoking on the grounds; non-smoker preferred.
