Job title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Available Shift: Rotating start times, mon-Fri; 7:30am - 4pm; 8am - 4:30pm; 8:30am - 5pm; 9am - 5:30pm

Duration: 13 Week

Pay: $48- $53Per Hour

Specific Work Responsibilities: Performs various duties associated with patient care, such as assisting patients with general mobility/transfers, using patient care equipment and maintaining supplies, medications and vaccine: performs various nursing functions, such as administering medications (orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, sublingually & sub dermally, ensures proper documentation, performing phlebotomy, blood glucose and POCT, and managing Epic Inbasket messages; performs various procedures and tasks (within LPN scope of practice) for infant through geriatric patients.

Mandatory Qualifications: Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing; current licensed practical nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Ohio, including certification to pass medications; Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare provider certification; minimum of one year of experience working as a LPN in an ambulatory setting; experience working with Epic electronic medical records system.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in obstetrics, pediatrics, and/or cardiology

Network Access and/or Various Apps needed: Epic, Network Pyxis

Required Licenses/Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements: May sit, stand stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day; may need to sit or stand for extended periods; See in the normal visual range, with or without correction; Hear in the normal audio range, with or without correction; Ability to lift 250 – 300 pounds with assistance; Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance; Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids; Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
