Olive Care Services LLC is hiring Licensed Practical and Vocational Nurses (LVN/LPN) to join our growing Home Health Agency. Working primarily in the facilities/private homes of our patients providing shift care, the LVN/LPN helps fulfill the care requirements of our patients under orders from their physician. Under the direction of the Director of Patient Care Services or RN Case Manager, the successful LVN/LPN will be fully accountable for ensuring that the highest level of competent, compassionate care and safety is delivered to each patient. The LVN/LPN must have previous home health experience.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care as outlined in physician-directed Plan of Care
• Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration)
• Assist with patient comfort
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
• Collect samples and monitor catheters
• Provide wound care
• Help educate family and Caregivers / Home Health Aides as necessary
• Complete and submit required documentation according to Agency policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:

• Current LPN License
• 1+ year(s) of nursing experience required (home health preferred)
• Pediatric care experience is a plus
• Vent/Trach certification a plus
• Bilingual Spanish is desirable
• Willingness to work day and evening shift (variety of hours available)
