The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is seeking to fill adjunct faculty positions in Speech-Language Pathology starting summer of 2023. This position is an adjunct appointment at the rank of Lecturer. The appointment may be renewed annually, contingent upon the department’s needs and funding availability.
Responsibilities include teaching graduate-level courses in person in the area of expertise. Applicants must have a Master’s or Doctorate in communication disorders and hold ASHA CCC-SLP and Texas licensure. Preference will be given to individuals with specialties in communication science and disorders‒ e.g., head and neck cancer, tracheostomy care, and autism; previous teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
