Local Leavenworth establishment seeks a talented, detail-oriented, and hardworking Kitchen Lead to join our fun and exciting team. The ideal candidate has a background in culinary with leadership skills and ability, multi-tasking, and problem-solving. Experience with directing 20+ employees, scheduling, inventory, ordering and kitchen skills. Must have people skills, a good attitude and open availability. This is a Full-Time job with an expectation of 35-50 hours per week, depending on seasonality. We work hard and set expectations high, but we strive to provide a great work/life balance keeping our people happy and fulfilled!

Position Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the kitchen daily, and the whole restaurant occasionally
• Deliver superior food quality and consistency
• Maintain food cost and labor goals
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Manage and lead staff
• Train and evaluate staff performance
• Maintain food and inventory
• Manage restaurant supplies and control costs to minimize waste
• Nurture a positive working environment with an “Open Door” policy
• Implement strategies to improve productivity and sales

Position Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
• 2+ years of experience in culinary
• Healthy food knowledge
• Computer literacy, especially in Excel, Word, and other design programs a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Good financial management skills
• Time management skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
