Description:

The Lead Cashier is responsible for the exceptional execution of Customer Service at the Cashier Pods. They ensure all Plum Market service standards are met and Customer issues are resolved. The Lead Cashier will oversee, and manage Front End Team Members and ensure they comply with the operating policies and procedures of Plum Market. They balance Cash drawers, prepare store deposits and complete necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Ability to model and provide exceptional Customer Service.
• Ability to lead by example and set clear expectations.
• Must have basic math skills and a strong knowledge of cash handling.
• Able to oversee, train, and operate all aspects of a computerized POS System
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
• Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities:

• Model and provide exceptional Customer Service.
• Coach front end TM’s to the proper Customer Service expectations.
• Oversee all cash handling, check processing and POS policies.
• Accurately balance cash drawers, prepare deposit and complete paperwork.
• Answer phones and direct calls for Customer Service.
• Effectively resolve Customer issues.
• Effectively communicate with Customers, Team Members and Store Leadership.
