Performs a variety of Main Bank cashiering duties in the reconciliation and verification of incoming and outgoing main bank inventory including money and slot tickets assist guests as necessary.
>All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and any other related training.
>Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner.
> Assists the Casino Shift Supervisor with adequate information in hiring, retaining, promoting, performance evaluations, training, disciplining, and terminating team members.
> In absence of the next level management, Lead Cashier may perform supervisor duties.
> Calculates and prepares daily bank deposits.
> Maintains Main bank accountability and related documents and safeguards for Casino assets numerically controlled documentation and supply inventory.
> May perform functions of Cage Cashier, as required.
> Reconciles main bank accountability for assigned shift.
> Completes the necessary paperwork to comply with federal currency transaction reporting requirements (Title 31).
> Reviews all cage cashier discrepancies and follow up reports.
> Performs even-money exchanges with the other casino departments and cage cashiers.
> Prepares daily cash receipts and disbursements through the main bank.
> Verifies all cash turned in by operating departments.
> Maintains an adequate amount of currency in reserve for daily operation and promotional events.
> Verifies and accepts funds from soft count.
> Prepares and processes jackpot transactions.
> Transfers necessary currency to main bank reserve.
> Maintains the Main Bank area in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
> Assists the Cage Supervisor, as requested.
> Maintains high level of guest confidentiality at all times
> Other duties as assigned by Management.
> Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the SICS.
> Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Kiowa Casino and of the Finance department.
> All other duties as assigned.
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others.
Specifics Required:
> High school diploma or GED required
> At least 21 years of age
> 2 years progressive casino cage cashiering
Preferred:
> Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to communicate using written, oral and computer methods. Must be able to operate computer equipment (for extended periods of time). Must have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate computer equipment. Must be able to independently lift up to 50 pounds routinely. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Office, and gaming floor environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile guests. High volume direct public contact.
