Job Summary:

Angelo's Landscape Group is looking for responsible and eager individuals to join our team who can perform landscape installation activities using professional tools & equipment. Our Company provides services to Baton Rouge and surrounding cities in South Louisiana. Our teams are committed to delivering high-quality work that makes a visible difference to our clients on both commercial and residential properties.

Job Functions:

The following tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Removing existing shrubs, plants, and/or small trees
• Pulling or chopping weeds
• Hauling sand, topsoil, mulch, rocks, and pavers
• Digging
• Planting
• Watering
• Raking
• Pruning
• Mulching
• Laying sod
• Removal of debris
• Low voltage light installation
• Paver installation
• Installing irrigation
• Drainage installation

Required Skills and Abilities for the Job:

• Work in adverse weather conditions.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and Background check.
• Capability of learning quickly with ease.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

Compensation:

This position is paid an hourly payrate and, at the discretion of the Employer, may include bonuses and/or extra compensation based on performance of the employee. Very competitive pay and unsurpassed job security.

Hours of Work:

• 40+ hours per week (Monday - Friday) and may include occasional Saturdays.
• Daily operation hours are from 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
• Overtime work may be offered, but not mandated.

Education and Experience:

• Experience is preferable with professional landscape equipment (i.e. skid steer, power tools, tillers, etc.)
• Knowledge of landscape construction is desirable.
• No formal education in machinery is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Loading and unloading heavy equipment.
• Bending and squatting.
• Agility is essential.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
