EEW American Offshore Structures Inc. (EEW AOS) is currently establishing its US operations in Paulsboro, NJ and is looking for a full-time position of Laborer II to join our growing team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed vocational training in a metal trade and/or at least 1 year of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
• Training and experience using hand tools such as grinders, drills, or sanding equipment.
• Working in and around welding or metalworking, or desire for welder training is helpful.

RESONSIBILITES & DUTIES

• Extensive use of hand tools such as grinders, manual rotating saws and drills.
• Precise use of grinders to shape and condition welds and surfaces for painting will be a main task.
• Must pass a grinding test in a reasonable time from starting in the position (ie: 2 months).
• Will work around and assist with large rotating and heavy lifting equipment and may assist in attaching rigging and devices.
• Marking of surfaces and record keeping of work accomplished may be required.
• Lifting, cleaning using water or mild chemical wash down materials will be required.
• Following detailed router instructions.
• Fair communication skills and report writing skills.
• Must be able to communicate (Read, Write and Speak) English fluently.
• Position requires standing, walking, bending. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25/50 pounds
• Perform routine daily and weekly maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends as necessary to meet customer demands
• Required to follow all quality and safety procedures.
• Working at heights and confined spaces
• Light Computer user knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
