We are seeking a motivated Laborer to assist on-site superintendents at various construction sites in the Greater Grand Rapids area. We are interested in hiring someone with a passion for construction who is interested in on-the-job training and potential long-term employment opportunities.

Job responsibilities include:

• General Labor
• Advanced carpentry, general construction trade skills
• Ability to safely operate power hand tools including table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer and power nail gun.
• Must be able to interact with others
• Sense of urgency to work to the schedule and get the job done on time.
• Take pride in a job well done the first time.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions
• Job Site Problem Solving
• Miscellaneous support
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3-5 years of Carpenter experience
• A passion for construction and learning new things.
• Teamwork mentality: Willingness to go above and beyond to meet accelerated deadlines and work in a team environment. Candidate must have superior organizational and communication skills.
