SUMMARY
The City of Chicopee’s DPW Flood Control Division is hiring a Temporary Laborer responsible for miscellaneous maintenance repair tasks or office work; lawn mowing, painting; grounds keeping and cleaning; catch basin marking; graffiti removal.
SOME ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE
- Landscaping
- Picks up trash/recycling, debris removal.
- Painting and graffiti removal
- Catch basin marking.
- Responsible for operating and maintaining power equipment.
- Responsible for safe operation of city vehicles in adherence with law and city policies
- Performing miscellaneous maintenance repair tasks or office work

QUALIFICATIONS
To be minimally qualified for this position, one must meet the following criteria:
High School Diploma or Equivalent- A minimum of three months related experience and/or training.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery.

The City of Chicopee provides its employees (
