Perform routine chemical analysis, maintain laboratory and compliance records, perform QC/QA testing and calibration on laboratory equipment.

• 
  Ensure that each facility activity is performed in a manner that achieves customer satisfaction and realizes company cost objectives and protects the health of employees.

• Work closely with the GSO Operations Manager, the Fuels Manager and the EHS Manager to ensure the Greensboro facility operates in compliance with our Hazardous Waste Management Permit. Ensure that the highest levels of safety and environmental standards are being achieved.

• Perform routine analytical testing per company Waste Analysis Plan on incoming and outgoing bulk loads, containerized waste shipments and customers’ samples.

• Prepare reagents and standards to specifications as necessary.

• Order and keep track of lab supplies as needed, including reagents, solvents, analytical gases, consumable testing supplies and sample bottles.

• Perform data-entry record keeping functions in the laboratory, including routine analytical results and weekly or special reporting information.

• Perform data-entry quality control functions in the laboratory and for the facility, including routine quality assurance documents.

• Interpret lab and QC results to create Analytical Discrepancy (ADS) documents in ERP system. Work closely with the Fuels Manager to resolve any issues and requests for further information that customers / Customer Service request.

• Perform data analysis and generate reports from various databases.

• Play a key part in the development of the companies Fuel Blending program including input on blending strategies to minimize costs and maximize profitability.

• Handle other essential duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be adequately cross-trained and functional in all the Lab functions, including but not limited to, Tank Farm operation, QC sampling and routing determination of incoming containers, and Fuels Batching.

• Maintain laboratory in a clean and orderly condition.
