General Responsibilities

The Lab Driver plays an important role in the daily functions of the lab, as they are a receiving point of contact for clients requesting order pickups and transfers. This position is responsible for complying with all company policies and procedures, state compliance regulations, and operational objectives of the laboratory. This position is also responsible for executing visual standards, presentation requirements, and meeting client needs as applicable. An insured company vehicle is provided.

The Lab Driver is responsible for paying attention to detail in each step of their process to guarantee the accuracy of their work. This role will include processing the proper information and paperwork for the lab to pickup samples from the client to then be transported back to the lab for intake. Some of the responsibilities of the Lab Driver are as follows:

• Prepping paperwork for pickups
• Driving to various client locations across the valley and state
• Practice safe driving and cash handling
• Ensure the pickup matches order requirements
• Follow set, scheduled route
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
• Sample inspection and handling to intake
• Speaking with clients to gather the needed information for testing
• Strong customer service skills to be a personable point of contact
• Using an online laboratory information management system software
• Coordinating schedules and appointments
• Processing paperwork for clients and for internal lab purposes
• Ensuring forms have the proper signatures and are completed correctly
• Answering and taking note of incoming inquiries via phone, fax or email
• Following up with clients
• Keeping all information confidential

Education

• High School Diploma required

Requirements

• Drivers license required
• Background checks will be performed for agent license
