Position Title:
: Material Handler/Labeler
Reports to: Herman Romero
Location: Fontana, CA
Job Summary: The Material Handler/Labeler is responsible aiding with the processing of orders, stacking pallets, and/or labeling cartons in various areas in a manner that meets company standards for safety, quality, productivity and accuracy but does not require operation of a powered industrial vehicle
Job Duties
- Maintain safe work environment by being aware of surroundings; following standards and procedures; complying with operating policies and regulations.
- Assist with quality issues and inspection.
- Assist with all labels and order preparation to various customer specifications
- Preform daily audits and accurately count cartons/pallets
- Pack box of items and stack boxes on pallets properly.
- Move empty pallets.
- Wear all required safety PPE and operate all work duties in a safe manner following proper procedures.
- Take individual responsibility in keeping work area organized and clean.
- Maintain quality and production standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Essential Functions
- Physical effort lifting and moving material or objects that are average weight continuously and heavy weight material or objects occasionally.
- Ability to move inside warehouse and remain in walking or standing position up to 12 hours.
- Bend, stretch, push, pull and reach low and high places frequently.
- Operate buttons on computer and RF guns.
- Ability to look up to high places (35-40 ft.) by bending neck.
- Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands, wrists, and arms.
- Ability to perform visual quality Inspection of product functionality and color.
- Ability to follow all safety rules and procedures
- Ability to follow all housekeeping rules and procedures
