Job description

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our Calabasas, CA offices (Los Angeles County). This position requires excellent communication and organization skills, intellectual curiosity, a passion for teamwork and a self-starter mindset. Interest in Real Estate, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing and Financial Reporting is a plus.

You have 1+ years of development experience that includes website development, CSS and at least one of the following programming languages( JavaScript C# or VB.NET) You don’t need all three, and what you don’t know, we will train you.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they:
1. Know at least one Programming Language (JavaScript or C# or VB.NET)
2. Know HTML
3. Know AngularJS
4. Have a basic understanding of SQL and Databases in General

  • Working with large data sets and writing code that helps users understand that data.
  • Understanding, developing, testing and debugging complex systems and applications
  • Investigating and identifying the root cause of defects, hands-on

Then this position might be for you.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Work holistically as part of a balanced team of software engineers, client relationship managers, sales and support
  • Help solving problems with software, across a vast spectrum of complexity, language and framework types
  • Collaborate with other members of your team to design the best and simplest solution possible and work together to overcome any challenges along the way
  • Enjoy full stack development and ability to pivot from project to project
  • Work on both new, and rewriting or re-factoring of existing business logic
  • Continuously learn, be self-directed and a self-starter

Education/Qualifications: BA/BS or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience is strongly preferred

  • 1+ years of development experience
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management, ability to multi-task and participate in team work

Compensation/Benefits: Job Type: Full Time

  • Compensation: $25/hour and up (depending on experience)
  • Annual performance-related bonus
