Overview:
Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Junior Help Desk Specialist in St. Louis, MO. Government security clearance required (Interim acceptable to start). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.

The current shift available is 3pm to 11pm (Sunday through Thursday OR Tuesday through Saturday). Applicants must be able to work this shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides telephone support to end users on a variety of issues
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
  • Responds to telephone calls and email requests for technical support
  • Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
  • Performs work that requires practical experience and training
  • Work is performed under supervision
Qualifications:
  • Government security clearance required (Interim acceptable to start)
  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Possesses 1 year experience, that includes 1 years in a specialized area. Specialized experience includes knowledge of PC operating systems, e.g., DOS, Windows, as well as networking and mail standards and experience in supporting a help desk.
  • General experience includes information systems development and other work in the client/server field or related fields. Has demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing and a positive customer service attitude.
  • Meet DOD 8570 Level I requirement (A+ or Net + Certification) or be able to obtain within first 90 days of employment
