Junior Accountant
West Liberty, IA

We are a progressive, leading provider of communication services (voice, video, data) - and other cool tech stuff located minutes from Iowa City. Basically Liberty Communications’ is at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and great customer service. We are expanding Liberty Communications and looking to expand our team.

You’ll be a critical member of a small team responsible for day-to-day financial operations to keep Liberty
Communications financially stable. Here’s how you will contribute:

• Process bi-weekly payroll and associated taxes.
• Maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures.
• Participate in policy development and identify department goals, plans, guidelines, and procedures.
• Additional projects as assigned
• Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.

We’ll also be looking for these things: o Bachelor Degree in Accounting o You are a great communicator (verbal and written), capable of not just doing the work, but collaborating with others – people like working with you. o You have the vision to see opportunities, anticipate needs, and identify solutions. o A focus on key business results. o Eager to be recognized as one of our key culture ambassadors and champion our values across everything we do. o Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. o Live within exchange areas served (West Liberty and West Branch) or within one hour. o Must be able to complete a background check.

Liberty Communications has an excellent benefits package and profit sharing program. Although there is occasional opportunity for overtime, the current working schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm. Liberty
Communications is offering a competitive hourly salary of $40,000 to $50,000 depending on experience.
