ABOUT US: ABEDI Inc (PRIDE) is a small but growing Adult Day Program that is wanting to the community with providing a life-enhancing services for individuals who have developmental disabilities. As we are a growing company, there is multiple avenues of grow for employees here. We are invested into every employee to create a better work environment.

* Competitive hourly rates starting at $18.00 per hour. Competitive pay of an additional $3.00+ with paid mile reimbursement ($0.65) and cell phone reimbursement. Additional compensation for applicants with experience in the field of ABA. Job Coach Work Schedule is Monday- Friday 8am-2pm (opportunities for additional hours providing respite or ABA therapy after 2pm)

Who we are hiring: ABEDI, Inc (PRIDE) is seeking a compassionate, active, and reliable staff to support individuals with developmental disabilities (autism, down syndrome, intellectual disabilities) at their community-based day program.

A day in the job: A typical day as a Job Coach includes picking up individuals served from their home, working at volunteer and employment-based locations, going on community outings targeting independence in community integration, purchasing and budgeting skills, group socialization and physical fitness/wellbeing.

Job responsibilities: Individuals served are grouped in 1:2 and 1:1 ratios. You will receive on the job training in applied behavior analysis, implementing and collecting data on skill and behavior goals and behavior management & reduction. PRIDE is a behavioral day program serving individuals with developmental disabilities (autism, down syndrome, CP, etc.) in employment and community settings.

Requirements:

• All drivers must be 23 years or older and have a clean driving record
• High School diploma minimum
• Be available to work Monday through Friday between 8am-2/2:30pm
• Pass DOJ Livescan background check/fingerprinting
• Have CPR/First Aide certification
• Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working through challenging behaviors
