This job entails working alongside a crew of 3 people with disabilities. We are looking for someone who is a hard worker. We are looking for someone who is a role model and example for positive work ethic. This position requires performing janitorial tasks at an office building.

The position is cleaning an office building. The job involves, lifting up to 30 lbs, pushing, pulling, and wiping. You do not have to have experience for this position. We would train you on all duties and equipment. The job entails: mopping, sweeping, wiping, and cleaning counters and bathrooms and trash removal.

QUALIFICATIONS
The Job Coach shall possess the ability to effectively and efficiently supervise up to three clients in a variety of job tasks in community-based setting. General organizational abilities, including effective time management skills necessary for the coordination, implementation, and documentation of individual case plans for those clients supervised are also required. The Job Coach will act as liaison between client, employer, co-worker, and all individuals who interact with the client while on the job, and will keep the Center’s Supported Employment Manager and staff informed regarding all aspects and issues pertaining to the enclave. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

The Job Coach is under the direction and supervision of the Site Supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB COACH:

The Job Coach will:

1. Train, supervise and support individuals served in community-based setting.

2. This is a hands-on position that requires the Job Coach to perform all services of identified in the contract alongside crew members and co-workers.

3. In coordination with the Center’s Rehabilitation staffs, successfully manage and resolve vocational and behavioral concerns of individual’s served while in the community.

4. Provide information on a regular basis to the Center’s Rehabilitation staff appropriate for presentation in client case conferences and other in-house agency staffing which relate to the implementation and maintenance of direct service to individuals served.

5. Identify and develop realistic, achievable vocational objectives for individuals served for presentation at client case conferences.

6. Maintain at all times the primary concerns of the individuals served.

CLERICAL RESPONSIBILITES:

The Job Coach will:

1. Maintain and provide on going written and verbal progress reporting for all clients assigned, including monthly generation of Department of Rehabilitation progress reports, tracking of client attendance and productivity, and billing information.

1. Notify Site Supervisor of enclave needs (i.e., material and stationary requirements, etc.)

MISCELLANEOUS RESPONSIBILTIES
The Job Coach will:

1. Establish and maintain professional relationships in the community.

2. Attend training seminars as required.

3. Actively support and participate in special agency events when possible.

4. Assist in the efficient communication of information to other staff.

5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor and/or Supported Employment Program Manager.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
