We are seeking a personable and motivated individual to join our sales team. Come join a legacy of success for over 130 years at one of the nation’s largest individual jewelry stores. Housed in our own building in downtown Chicago, with over 16000 sq ft of showroom space, you will find a large team of experts in every facet of the industry. Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
• Be your client’s guide through over 35,000 in stock items.
• Maintain your clientele through regular follow-up by phone and email.
• Provide feedback on industry trends and our assortment of merchandise.
• Have a designated area of responsibility that you will be the stores resource on.
• Work across departments to help achieve the highest possible sales and client satisfaction.
• Partner with our repair department, marketing department, or watch department to help various projects that are available.

Requirements:

• Team player: We expect all our staff to work together to deliver the best possible experience to all clients
• Proven history of sales success
• Detail orientated
• Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum 5-year fine jewelry experience. Loose diamond sales experience.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree
• GIA Education
• Management Experience

Benefits:

• Salary Position plus annual bonus. Commensurate on experience.
• Balanced regular hours with assigned day off. No evenings, our standard open hours are M-F 10-5:30, Th 10-7, and Saturday 10-5, we are closed Sundays.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
