Job description
TechServ seeks an IT Technician to join our team. Reporting to the IT Director, the IT Technician will assist in managing the Help Desk service, conduct repairs and installations, and support the Call Center for all iServ brands and more.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)
- Perform triage on new tickets
- Accept ownership of tickets in your region/area of responsibility
- Follow up on existing tickets waiting on confirmation or clarification
- Take call center support phone calls
- Provide level 1 tech support for as many calls as possible
- Process end-of-month theoretical calculations and inventory
- Managing vendor accounts and contracts
- Conduct repairs and installs (including but not limited to)
- Basic networking and configuration of computers and devices
- Running cable, building jacks and outlets and other networking infrastructure, and mounting screens and other equipment
- Installing cameras and DVRs
- Installing software and programming devices
Required Qualifications
- Open availability that may include nights, overnights, and weekends (no official schedule will be posted except for specifically scheduled projects, tickets, repairs, and installs)
- Ability to travel 75% of the time to North and Central Florida and South Georgia
- Ability to travel to Home Office in Ocala regularly.
- Problem-solving skills and organizational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior computer, networking, and installation knowledge is preferable
