Ambulatory Medical Practices MSO Inc. (AMP), for ColumbiaDoctors, has an exciting opportunity available for an IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team! The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for assisting (and being part of) the IT Team with the management of the day to day operations for the satellite practices of ColumbiaDoctors. The IT Support Engineer will maintain and provide service to over 200 users and PCs. Assess the needs of end users for computer services. Installs and maintains hardware and software including network, printers, scanners and other peripherals. Assists in conducting and maintaining the inventory of all hardware and peripherals. Provides user support including troubleshooting, repairs and equipment upgrades as needed. Recommends and plans software and hardware changes. Involved in the planning and deployment of equipment for renovations, personnel moves, office moves, etc. This position requires some offsite and off hours work and travel between remote offices. Performs other duties as required.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Implement, install, configure, and troubleshoot existing and new Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Regularly interact with management, other system administrators, and users regarding current prospective system changes and future needs
  • Provide support to various satellite offices, both onsite and remote
  • Assist doctors and staff as main point of contact for all tech operations and needs
  • Network security/network connectivity/systems backup management.
  • Assist with phone/phone systems, computer and internet services, mobile devices
  • Assist and provide guidance on all equipment, programs, systems access, updates, applications access
  • Travel to other sites as needed

AMP is a Management Service Organization (MSO) that provides administrative and clinical support staff for ColumbiaDoctors. ColumbiaDoctors is one of the largest multi-specialty practices in New York State, comprised of an experienced group of physicians specializing in Cardiology, Vascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Obesity, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, and Endocrinology. We are a large group with over 50 Columbia Providers and offices in Westchester, Rockland and Orange Counties. Our locations include Valhalla, Hawthorne, White Plains, Yonkers, Scarsdale, Suffern and Monroe.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education, training and/or experience plus a minimum of two years related experience required. Must have excellent organization skills and work well under pressure. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
