We have been retained by our client in the Bedford, Texas area of the Dallas/Fort Worth,Texas Metroplex to deliver a Help Desk/IT Support Technician on a full-time basis, M-F, 8-5. Compensation depends on experience ($18-26/hour) plus a very good benefits program, IRA and paid vacation/time-off. Some limited on-call hours. You will be working in a smaller environment supporting several clients at a help desk, and on call, capacity. Client office onsite visits occasionally. This is an onsite opportunity in Bedford. Small team, nice office, onsite attendance, working collaboratively, especially during triage.

Mostly Office 365, Windows, OneDrive, Active Directory , Sharepoint, Security and DNS
Exchange Online, O365, set up, config, Add/Remove Users, Spam Filtering problems with email.
OneDrive i.e. problems w/implementing, sync, remote files, data capacity requires leaving OneDrive.
Sharepoint i.e. permissions, Add/Remove users, document size too big – legal documents can be big.
Security i.e. Spam filtering, DNS filter, Security Administration, NextGen Antivirus, End Point Detection and Response. AntiVirus, Anti-malware, Ransomeware detection and removal.

Take support calls as far as you can take them, with your level technical support skills, and if help is needed, move the caller through a seniority chain of command all the way to completion. If Support Tech is unable to solve the problem in a timely manner, Support Tech can escalate to a more senior technician on the team. Standard Help Desk support, trouble ticket updates as issues are closed and billed. Calls or emails come in, and you take that call as far as you can, technically. The further the better! A Self-motivated candidate needed.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a small team at an office in Bedford, Texas providing support to users, remote help desk and IT support for users. Document the phone call details and the results – so writing skills are a plus. Document trouble tickets.

  • From the HQ near Bedford, Texas, support users remotely on instruction of features, Office365 configuration changes, password resets, Windows, L1 to L2 user questions, add/remove users, Active Directory, printer failure, cloud services (mail, document, calendar) not working, OneDrive, Sharepoint.
  • Working from support tickets in a helpdesk environment.
  • Windows 10 Pro in an Office 365 and Active Directory environment (Azure AD a plus)
  • PC support for upgrades, repairs, printer drivers & issues
  • Basic troubleshooting for Android or iOS phone end-user issues (Outlook, Settings, Configs).
  • Dealing with phone calls and communication with users needed support, use remote control service app to access user machines.
  • As easy as “the user lost a file, so find file in backup”, or “no VPN connectivity”, or “how do I do this with MS Word” or “I can’t print for some reason”, but also much more technical into IP addressing, network support and Azure, and network security.

We are seeking candidates with an associate degree or bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems or related discipline or an X-military person with a DD214 in electronics.

3+ years of experience in Windows Technical support. We are seeking a fast-learning, self-motivated professional with 1-2 years of Windows support experience, who has working knowledge of networking, IP and DNS for example. CompTIA A+ is required. Any Microsoft certifications or additional CompTIA certifications are a plus. Azure a plus. Any mobile phone tech support on Android or iOS is a plus.

We require a smart technician with most of the skills above, who is easy to work with, punctual, dedicated, hard-working, and knows how to solve problems, and knows how to teach himself/herself new skills. We require professionalism, and the ability to solve problems.

Your supervisor provides remote tech support, and systems administration. He will be able to teach this IT Support Tech many things, including the aforementioned in 7 bullet points above but again, the ideal candidate is able self-learn new skills, remain adaptable, punctual and supportive, both technically and empathetically.



Employment Type: Full-Time Employment

Hourly Rate: $18.00 – 26.00 per hour
