This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Waccamaw Center for Mental Health, at the Conway Clinic, 164 Waccamaw Medical Park Drive, Conway, SC 29526.

Under general supervision, assists in providing technical advice in voice and data networks and the maintenance of Waccamaw Center for Mental Health's computer network, including
hardware and software applications for the four locations (Conway, South Strand, Georgetown and Kingstree) and technical support for all external users hardware and software issues. Provides instructional training to users of all software applications on the network and the operation of all computer systems.
You will assist the system administrator in monitoring hardware and software problems that occur on the network and with external users. Duties includes imaging and reimaging all the laptops for WCMH and preparing all the forms for the laptop and tablet assignments. He also is in charge of requesting access for all the remote
users to have access to the DMH Pulse Secure and MFA groups to have the ability to access the DMH network remotely. Responsible for reimaging Waccamaw MH desktops.

Responsible for new inventory system by the name of WASP which will manage and all of the DMH equipment for each of the DMH mental health centers. Since his training he has noted and labeled all the computer equipment with barcodes at each of Waccamaw Mental Health Centers. By attaching barcodes to all of the equipment this will give the ability going forward to scan all current and new equipment that are purchased by WCMH to be added to the new WASP inventory system. Previously the inventory system was managed by using an Excel spreadsheet but with the new WASP system. Manages all of the inventory more efficiently.

Responsible for the duties of the new hire trainer and he has formulated his own new presentation slides of DMH policies and procedures which he updates as issues with users occurs and as DMH adds and changes policies and procedures.As the new hire trainer he instructs new hires and temporary staff of the policies and procedures for the DMH network and the policies and security of the network and usage of all computer equipment. Issues HIPPA and Internet Policy forms to new staff and interns to sign/date to be eligible for them to access the DMH network.In addition to the the new hire trainings responsible for maintaning the Microsoft updates on all of Waccamaw MH computers which includes tablets, laptops and desktops.

Maintains documentation of charts and other records in accordance with State, Federal.local, SCDMH, WCMH, Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance and
CARF standards.

Performs other related duties as required by supervisor


STATE REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma and relevant experience. An associate degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience. Preferred: High School graduation and 4yrs of experience in office automation systems, data communication system designs, processing of information in a data processing environment, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
