UnityPoint Health – Eyerly Ball is seeking full-time and part-time ISP Coordinators.

As an ISP Coordinator, you will work directly with clients of the Integrated Services Project by assisting them in meeting their psychiatric, medical, housing, employment, and social goals.

As an ISP Coordinator you will:

  • Assess the needs of clients and develop goals that will allow clients to achieve the greatest level of independence in their community.
  • Provide support to help clients with community involvement and integration, engage clients in improving daily functions and skills (ie: exercise routines, tracking and attending appointments, assist in following doctors’ orders). Time spent in the community approximately 70% and 30% in the office.
  • Be part of the team that teaches skills to clients to creatively explore alternatives to hospitalization, higher level of care, homelessness and incarceration.
  • Advocate for clients to help meet their needs, desires and best interests.
  • Utilize critical thinking in making independent judgements and maintain responsibility and accountability to our clients.
  • If agency vehicle not available, willingness to drive clients in own vehicle.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Capacity to professionally relate to a wide variety of clients, as well as a desire to serve as a client advocate.
  • Embrace team work to collaborate together on shared caseloads.
  • Ability to practice good verbal and written communication skills with ability to complete case notes timely.
  • Capacity to communicate with clients effectively, patiently and respond professionally at all times.
  • Ongoing passion about making a difference in the lives of those who have been touched by mental illness.
Requirements:

To be considered you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
  • Preferred One year experience working directly with population served in a clinical or community based setting, but not required.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record.
  • If agency vehicle not available, ability to drive clients in own vehicle.
  • Required to provide proof of auto insurance coverage.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, no weekends or on-call
