We are currently seeking a candidate with experience working in a busy warehouse. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems immediately. This position requires the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress. Must be able to be flexible and work with a team.

Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible to manage the inventory in the warehouse, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: includes the following, other duties may be assigned.

  • Computes material in stock and maintains computer records of inventory totals
  • Compares inventories to figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and reports reasons for discrepancies
  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material and computes inventory balance
  • Prepares reports, cycle counts, RMA or REM balances
  • Stocks and issue materials or merchandise
  • Manages Will Call desk, ensures that customers are not waiting longer than 30 minutes
  • Coordinates and communicates with sales team to ensure service goals are met
  • Ensures stock checks are fulfilled with 30-45 and are thorough and accurate
  • Completes cycle counts with 6 hours of issue
  • Monitors inventory to ensure bins are accurate, daily sampling 10% per day.
  • Validates receiving and sawyers are pulling and returning product to the correct location (spot check moves).
