We are seeking a full-time
International Emergency Response Coordination Center Coordinator 1 in our Montgomery, TX location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing basic coordination
of
search and rescue efforts with emergency personnel in support of Garmin customers.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Answers basic inbound SOS calls from customers through Garmin’s SOS device technology
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and always maintain compassionate, professional, and courteous interactions with Garmin customers, emergency responders and other members of the Garmin team
- Initiates emergency response procedures and communicates with responding agencies
- Communicates specific details provided by the customer to emergency responders for effective execution of emergency response procedures
- Thoroughly documents activity and results in and organized and timely manner
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated customer service expertise and active listening skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
