Overview:

NGA Research’s partnership activities include outreach and coordination with congressional oversight, interagency partners, academic institutions, National Labs, Federal Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs), non-traditional NGA vendors, and international partners.

Responsibilities:

The Contractor shall perform the following functions:

  • Organize and coordinate NGA Research’s participation in multi-national or bilateral project arrangements; shall review statements of work including the preparation, coordination, routing, and approval; and shall provide records management of all documentation and final technical reports.
  • Coordinate with other national program managers and shall setup and facilitate technical exchange meetings.
  • Actively communicate with the scientists and project teams, and shall report the status of all projects in a monthly report provided to the NGA Research International Relations POC.
  • Support the Government lead in the execution of their duties related to the governance of the international Government to Government relationships, including but not limited to support to senior/executive meetings, preparation of read-ahead materials, the drafting of briefings or papers, international travel, and occasional non-standard work hours to attend meetings across several time zones.
  • Maintain cognizance of current status of technical projects being planned and executed across NGA Research to enable greater coordination and facilitation of joint and cooperative projects with international partners.
  • Ensure Government personnel are aware of DoD and IC policies related to international cooperation, acquisition, disclosure & release, and technology transfer.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
  • Active TS SCI Clearance
  • In compliance with Executive Order 14042, InTec requires all new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 11/24/21, unless that person has requested and InTec has granted a medical or religious exemption during the onboarding process.
  • BA/BS, MA/MS, or PhD in International Relations, Foreign Affairs, Communications,Political Science, Information Science/Technology or closely related field.
  • Greater than or equal to 15 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in International Affairs, understanding governance of Government to Government relationships.
  • Familiarity with DoD and IC policies related to international cooperation, acquisition, disclosure & release, and technology transfer.
  • Capability and experience in organization and logistical support to meetings and internal and external events.
  • Capability to prepare, coordinate, route, and approve documents and reports. Ability to communicate and coordinate with other national program managers, scientists and project teams.
