Job description

The perfect candidate would have experience with Insurance Coordinating, but we are willing to train the right person.

The Insurance Coordinator is responsible:

• Send/processing of dental insurance claims and preauthorizations
• Contacting insurance companies
• Management of relationships with insurance carriers and patients regarding coverage determinations and outstanding balances
• Research and resolve insurance billing issues
• Manage outstanding insurance claims
• Review treatment plan estimates to ensure copays are accurate
• Entering insurance plans into Dentrix
• Ensures integrity of daily deposits and daily reports
• Answer any questions about insurance
• Check patients in for doctor and hygienist
• Answer phone calls
• Schedule patients
• Take payments from patients

Schedule: Monday: 7:30 am- 1 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 7:30 am- 7 pm, and Wednesday 7:30- 3 pm. End hours are approximate due to patient flow.

Pay based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
