ANATOMIC PATHOLOGY - CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR

The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Board-certified Pathologist with a predominant focus and interest in cytopathology and hospital-based intraoperative pathology to join the Department of Anatomic Pathology as a Clinical Instructor. This is an advanced specialty training position with individualized learning goals designed to allow the development of specific advanced skills. This position would focus on cytopathology and the intraoperative/frozen section service at the main hospital and a new inpatient hospital 2 miles from the main hospital and involve regular, direct interaction with surgical colleagues and a focus on practice excellence. Candidates would also have the opportunity to sign out in their surgical pathology subspecialty.

Candidates must have completed a cytopathology fellowship and preferably one other fellowship in a Pathology sub-specialty, or extensive clinical experience in another organ specialty. In addition, the candidate must possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical license and be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. The ideal candidate must have a focus on diagnostic excellence performing at a standard commensurate with a major academic center.

This is a full-time position at the Clinical Instructor level for a one-year term assigned to clinical and training duties. You may also be recommended for an Assistant Member faculty position following the successful completion of your instructorship.
