Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Instructional Specialist/Training Developer II to design, develop, implement, and evaluate educational and instructional programs. Contractor shall also be capable of presenting complex financial and accounting concepts to management, as well as providing basic instruction to employees, students, and trainees on relevant agency topics.

To be successful as an Instructional Specialist/Training Developer II, you should have a minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant course of instruction and an equivalent of 5 Years of direct or relevant industry experience. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and an understanding of varied learning styles.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

· Perform independent curriculum development, content curation, and deliver training on complex financial or accounting concepts.

· Provide training on communications methodologies and delivery related to contractor provided strategic communications plan and the execution of associated deliverables.

· Provide clear, common language messaging for complex financial and accounting concepts.

Required Skills and Experience:

Must have an equivalent of 5 Years of direct or relevant industry experience and the following skill-specific related experience:

· A minimum of 1 year performing independent curriculum development, content curation, and delivering training on complex financial or accounting concepts.

· Ability to provide training on communications methodologies and delivery related to contractor provided strategic communications plan and the execution of associated deliverables.

· Ability to provide clear, common language messaging for highly complex financial and accounting concepts.

· Produce work products that are accurate, professional in appearance, and free of any typographical, grammatical, spelling, or formatting errors.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or related field

Location:

This position will be performed remotely from the contiguous United States (CONUS) with the understanding you will work hours corresponding with the Eastern Time Zone to facilitate working the same hours as the rest of the team.

If on-site services are required, the contractor shall be available to provide services at the following DFAS sites:

· DFAS Indianapolis, 8899 East 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46249

· DFAS Mark Center, 4800 Mark Center Drive, Suite 08J25-01, Alexandria, VA 22350-3000

· DFAS reserves the right to request services at additional DFAS sites as needed.
