Position Description
TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract Behavioral Interventionist (BI) for the 2022-2023 school year.
Location: Peoria, AZ- Duration: Immediately – May 25, 2023
- Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
- Full or Part Time: Full-Time
- Schedule: 35.5 hours/week, maximum of 7.5 hours every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and half day every Wednesday
- Grade/Age Levels: Pre-K; Elementary School
- Caseload Description: 1:1 or Classroom assignments (see below)

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for a BI:
- 1 year of verifiable professional experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports, and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred
- A Bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Child Development, Special Education, Psychology or a related field is preferred for Behavior Interventionist/Behavioral Therapist positions
