Purpose of Role – The Inside Sales Representative’s key priority is to help in all phases of the sales and store operation in growing revenue and assisting in customer service needs. Serving customers throughout the customer experience by phone, email, text, and helping walk in business.

Experience Required – Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, some knowledge of industry products and/or customers, and base knowledge of sales or customer service process, ability to build relationships, high capacity to learn and be adaptive, eagerness to support the team goals, professionalism, and integrity. Experience in retail, purchasing or customers service is preferred. Some experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams preferred.

Assists Sales team service via fielding and entering Customers requests, orders, quotes, deliveries and technical needs.
  • Primary function is to help facilitate customer requests, quotes, orders, and help develop relationships with our customers. Includes potentially handling customer payments including cash and credit cards.
  • Ensure customer purchase order reconciles with order for correct invoicing.
  • Work with customer portals when required for invoicing.
  • Make outbound calls to generate sales growth.
  • Qualify new customers potential and provide appropriate information to accounting to facilitate customer credit request.
  • Expedite customer order fulfillment with order delivery and order pickup.
  • Employee from time to time will fill orders by picking, packing, and shipping orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date and explaining stock-outs to customers.
  • Employee develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
  • Work with vendors to assist customers with product questions and special-order items outside our stock items.
  • Maintains communication by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
  • Maintains and improves customer experience by following standards, recommending improved policies.
  • Continuously seeks training and product knowledge by studying new product descriptions, participating in educational opportunities.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations to management.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
