Job description

We are seeking an experienced maintenance technician with a strong background in heat treat to join our team. As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our heat treat equipment and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of heat treat equipment, including furnaces, ovens, and quench tanks.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Perform inspections and tests to ensure equipment meets safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a heat treat environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing heat treat equipment.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heat treat equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
