Industrial Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Manager

1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

1.1. Provide maintenance support for the entire facility including, wiring, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems, tooling, and automated equipment.

2. KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

2.1. Understands mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic principals.

2.2. Performs and/or assists with weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.

2.3. Understands and applies Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and follows all safety guidelines.

2.4. Performs routine inspections on equipment to determine when and what kind of maintenance may be needed, and accurately maintains all maintenance documents and records.

2.5. Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.

4. SKILLS NEEDED

4.1. Minimum of five (3) years of related experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician.

4.2. High school diploma or GED. Mechanical, electrical or PLC certificates preferred.

4.3. Self-starter that can work in an independent manner with little or no supervision.

4.4. Working knowledge of all phases of commercial electrical work, and AC/DC drives.

4.5. Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and shop drawings.

4.6. Ability to provide own tools, bend wire and conduit, and program PLC’s and more complex wiring.

4.7. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and some weekends and on-call hours.

4.8. Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and employees.

4.9. Keep abreast of the latest trends/developments in Quality, Safety, and Environmental practices through regular formal training.

6. MEASUREMENT

Primary measures of successful performance will be:

6.1. Meets productivity standards, and identifies and resolves maintenance problems in a timely and accurate manner.

6.2. Maintaining ISO certifications.

6.3. Receive zero notices of violation or administrative consent orders regarding environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
