The Individual Program Coordinator (IPC) is a non-exempt (hourly) position that primarily conducts responsibilities in a Arc Otsego residential facility. An IPC is responsible for the overall development and monitoring of program plans. This includes delivering training to peers for consistent implementation and sustainability of the program.

The ideal Individual Program Coordinator will:

  • Facilitate the development, implementation and maintenance of each assigned resident.
  • Maintain and update each assigned plan annually
  • Train and coach staff on processes, procedures and goals
  • Write skill acquisitions
  • Assist with development of behavior reduction plans
  • Monitor the individual’s progress on a monthly basis with interventions as necessary
  • Assure accurate and consistent communication with all members of the individual’s team
  • Coordinate with other program sites
  • Assure all service provision meets regulatory requirements including the necessary paperwork being completed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor services provision to assure the individual’s rights are not infringed upon without written justification and Human rights committee approval.
  • Assist with implementation of departmental and agency Consumer Satisfaction protocols.
  • Complete assignments outlined in the Agency and Residential Quality Improvement Program.
  • Serve as On-Call Administrator as required.

Requirements of an Individual Program Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s degree or university in a health service field
  • Two years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Valid NYS driver’s license
  • Clear MVR
  • Ability to lift and/or transfer, push pull up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
