Job Purpose:
The Import Planning Analyst will support the various analytical and data needs of the Planning team. This position is responsible for maintaining appropriate in-stock levels in a rapidly growing and ever-evolving business. The Planning Analyst will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, Purchasing, and other groups to identify opportunities and support key initiatives.


Duties and Responsibilities
:

  • Responsible for providing a monthly purchase plan to the import purchasing department to support sales in the core business along with supporting any league requirements. This work is done using a combination of M3 ERP systems and Logility Supply Planner system.
  • Provide weekly expedite report for imported finished goods to maintain the highest service levels and to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Provides guidance to Sales and Customer Care on the availability of product by analyzing incoming receipts against demand.
  • Manages system parameters to control desired stock levels at each DC and accurate supplier lead times in receiving warehouses.
  • Manages system parameters to control back order date reporting in the event we are OOS or the customer order is more than our current availability.
  • Works cross functionally to support business initiatives and service objectives including but not limited to new style launches, league opportunities, large special orders.
  • Analyzes production data, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and takes the actions required to meet departmental and company goals.
  • Maintain the appropriate in-stock positions and manage inventory across multiple distribution centers.


Skills/Qualifications/Education/Licenses & Certifications
:

  • Associate’s Degree in Business or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office applications. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred. (pivot tables, nested “if” statements).
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines; supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Must be results-driven, adaptable, detail oriented and organized.
  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, opportunities, and concerns.
  • Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Oral and written fluency in Spanish preferred.
