Job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing support duties within the Imaging Department. Duties include but are not limited to retrieving/distributing patient records, preparing films for interpretation, answering phones, providing administrative assistance to Radiologist and other imaging staff. Coordinates flow of patients through in-patient holding area, including providing basic comforts, observation and communication to nursing staff of any emergent issues. Permitted to change patient from portable O2 to wall O2.
Education
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Medical Terminology
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
N/A
Experience
Minimum: Six months working in Healthcare
Preferred: One year experience working in an Imaging department
Other Requirements:
Good communication skills, basic computer skills.

Schedule: Casual, Varying shifts D/E/WKNDS/Holidays, Varying as needed
